troubled dogs are good dogs too

A complicated canine is so much more than what troubles them. 

They are troubled, yes. They have anxiety, or reactivity, or poor health, or aggression. 

But they are also silly, and loving, and sassy, and so damn cute.

How beautiful and how terrible to love a complicated canine

Terrible, to have your heart broken by the troubles of theirs that you cannot soothe.

And beautiful, to have your heart overflow with the love of this precious soul.

And for the complicated canine, terrible, to be troubled. 

But beautiful, to be loved despite that. 

And beautiful, to exist in someone’s heart as a bundle of goofy faces, unbridled joy, exuberant zoomies, cute little quirks, boundless love, and a gentle soul.
