Every time we go for a walk, we take this strategically well-stocked treatbag…
I take food to reinforce good choices like loose-lead walking, calm responses to people and dogs on walks, and for leaving birds alone.
Sometimes Mango gets over-aroused on walks or fixates on something, so treats and toys help manage those situations.
I started with a single pocket one that was flimsy and tiny and just did not cut it. I sincerely appreciate a well-designed bag, and this one has so many pockettsssss which means I can get really organised with low vs. high value treats, toys, and the clicker, which I tend to only pull out for highly distracting situations or for a proper training session, otherwise I just use a marker word.
It’s occurred to me that I must look a sight with this on my hip, but I’ve never cared. I feel confident about walks knowing I’ve got lots of tools on hand for different scenarios. When we go on longer journeys I take a backpack too 🤓🎒
