Sometimes it feels like we’re so far behind. Like every other dog Mango’s age is excelling at everything and Mango and I are stuck at the starting post.

But I know that this is important work - she’s such a gorgeous girl, and she deserves to thrive in this world. I daresay that the road ahead of me is longer and more difficult than the average dog owner’s, but I know it’s worth it for the difference it makes to Mango’s quality of life.
