For those who have ever lost or are losing a dog…

…to illness (physical or behavioural), accident, or old age.

For those who have to say goodbye to dogs they foster, dogs they care for at the shelter, or the dogs they can’t care for anymore.

I see you, and my heart aches with you.

I know this doesn’t make it any easer, but remember that the grief is so deep because the love is. That pain you feel isn’t a sign to stop loving, it’s a sign that you loved with all your heart
